MSD has a chart on the back of the distributor box that will tell you how to change the timing curve. The engine was getting too much mechanical timing from 14 initial to 35 total. Ernie swapped out the small busing under the cam mechanism from the blue MSD bushing to the black MSD bushing. This will help limit the overall mechanical timing from 14-35 to 17-35.
