We pulled the old radiator out for a few reasons. One being most of the engine bay is being updated to more modern parts, and we wanted it to match. The second was we could use dual 11-inch fans that hug the radiator and get rid of the mechanical fan. Third, an aluminum radiator is 20-percent lighter than that of a brass/copper radiator. Forth, the cooling fins were slightly bent from debris in the road and us leaning it against something we shouldn’t have.
