The stock radiator flange mounting brackets are removed and it was really easy. I ground the rivets down with a hard stone grinder until I had just a wafer thick rivet head. You will be able to see the outline of the rivet body, so just whack it with a small diameter center punch and out they come. The brackets are also spot-welded in a couple of spots, but a well placed 3⁄16-inch drill bit and a couple of hammer ‘taps’ and I had them removed.
