CPP also offers a ¾ round U-joint on one end and a ¾ DD U-joint on the other to connect to the CPP column. The ¾ round end can be drilled by a machine shop all the way through the steering shaft (the steering shaft is on the left). Then a Grade 8 bolt can be passed through with a lock nut on the end to make a worry-free connection. Both options require a machine shop’s help and the ¾ DD U-joint is something you don’t want to weld to the steering shaft because of the difference in metals.
