Dakota Digital BIM Series Expansion Modules

Dakota Digital is proud to unveil the BIM series of instrumentation expansion modules. The BIM-17-1 is the first product to be released within this highly anticipated new series. This allows for the addition of up to 16 gauges to be added to any Dakota Digital instrument system produced since July 2010.

The BIM-17-1 adds both a compass and outside air temperature gauge within the existing digital message centers. With a direct plug-in connection to the Dakota Digital control module, installation couldn’t be simpler. All necessary wiring, sensors, and hardware are included to make this a true plug-and-play experience. The BIM-17-1 has an MSRP of $99.95 and carries a complete 24-month warranty. AutoRad’s New Chevy Truck Radiator/Core Support Units

AutoRad Radiators is known for their handcrafted, quality aluminum radiator/core support assemblies designed for both performance and beauty. They are proud to announce the latest additions to their line, with three bolt-in replacement models for Chevy trucks (for years ’55-59, ’60-66, and ’67-72), available for any engine configuration. As with all their radiators, the Chevy truck units feature high-grade .090 all-aluminum tanks and sides. Each piece is TIG welded inside and out for a clean, secure weld. The cores are vacuum brazed for a strong, reliable seal. Two rows of 1-inch tubing is standard (1½-inch tubing is an optional upgrade for competition motors). Other options include Maradyne fans for optimal airflow and a fan shroud that is neatly formed into the core support. The radiator and core support are rubber mounted, and the support is braced to ensure a smooth fit and lasting performance. Hotchkis TVS for ’67-72 Chevy

Classic truck builders no longer have to compromise on ride and handling to achieve the perfect stance—the new Hotchkis Total Vehicle System for ’67-72 Chevrolet C10 pickups is, according to the manufacturer, the most complete high-performance bolt-on suspension system ever offered for classic pickups, providing the perfect slammed stance, supercar handling, and a family-friendly ride. Technology born on the high-banked ovals of Stock Car racing and proven in Goodguys and Optima Ultimate Street Car competition means your C10 can out-handle a new muscle car, and it can be installed in your driveway with basic hand tools.

The system includes tubular upper and lower control arms up front that extend the wheelbase 1.8 inches to center the wheels within the wheelwells for increased stability and a better look. Geometry is improved by increasing the caster measurement up to +9 degrees. The camber curve is improved and bumpsteer is corrected with a new centerlink assembly and heavy-duty tie-rod sleeves. Ride height is optimized with sport lowering springs, a 17⁄16-inch front sway bar reduces body roll, and Hotchkis-tuned Bilstein shocks and shock relocator brackets control the bumps along the road. The rear of the truck gets an adjustable full-length trackbar setup and an adjustable anti-squat bracket system to improve the truck’s instant center for maximum traction. A ¾-inch blade-style rear sway bar reduces body roll. Ride height is lowered 4 inches in front and 6 inches in the rear.
