Hernandez installed the camshaft bearings and made sure to line up the oiling holes when fitting them. We then cleaned the new crankshaft to ensure the metal from the manufacturing process was all out of the oiling holes. Hernandez measured the crank, main bearings, and block to ensure the bearings were the correct size. Next, Hernandez applied COMP Cams’ assembly lube to the bearings and installed the four-bolt main with ARP bolts (PN 134-3701) torqued to 65 ft-lb.
