When your creation has been finished and polished, it's basically ready for installation. Installing your new piece of custom trim can be handled in different ways, most time the pieces finished shape dictating attachment options. A trim piece like the one shown here can be attached using an industrial adhesive of some sort, or if done with care the backside could be drilled part way through and tapped to accept a machine screw or two. I was really impressed with Foster's handiwork. It wasn't an idea that had ever entered my mind before I saw it being done, but it's definitely something I'm going to try in one form or another for my project pickup. You might want to give it a shot as well.
