Ford 427 Windsor
Remember when the 427 Ford was the king of the street and track? It's more than 40 years later and you can now have the same cubic inches in a lightweight, smaller package that makes more power than the original big-blocks did. Because it's based on a 351 Windsor, the Smeding Performance 427 Windsor will fit perfectly in your classic truck or hot rod. The originals were temperamental, not so with this 427. It performs great as a daily driver on pump gas and works well in front of an overdrive transmission.

Every 427 Windsor features Dart, splayed cap four-bolt mains, CNC machined, 4.125 bore, scalloped water jackets, one-piece rear main seals, 4340 steel, non-twist forged cranks, 4130 forged I-beam rods with 3/8-inch ARP WaveLoc, bolts, lightweight, forged 9.8:1 pistons, custom ground hydraulic roller cams with .508/.532 lift and 222/232-degree duration, and 1.6-ratio, full roller rockers. They also sport Performer RPM Air-Gap, dual-plane intakes, Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads with 2.02/1.60 stainless valves, 170cc intake ports, 60cc chambers, and Quick Fuel 750-cfm dual-feed carbs with vacuum secondaries.
