With the cab pulled off the chassis (so I could get the darn thing through my garage door opening) I stepped back and surveyed the situation. The install itself is actually an easier job than you may imagine and one that any classic truck hobbyist with confidence in their welding skill can pull off without any major hitches. TCI's kit supplies all the components and hardware you need; all you have to add is some common sense and a bunch of accurate measurements. The first order of business was to verify the frame was square by measuring it diagonally from corner to corner, and sitting it on a set of jackstands so that it was as close to perfectly level as possible. The second step was rippin' out all the old unneeded components.
