Next come the new front calipers. Before installing them though you'll want to install the new (freshly silicone-greased) O-rings and steel slides into the caliper mounting ears. That done, you'll then install the new brake pads into the calipers (the outer pads first, then the inner pads and spring clips next). Lube the caliper mounting bolts, slide the calipers into position (making sure the bleeders are pointing up) over the rotors and line up the holes in the calipers with the holes in the caliper brackets. Make sure the ends of the bolts pass under the retaining ears of the inboard pads, push the bolts through the bushings of the outboard ears, and thread in the bolts torquing them to 25-30 lb-ft.
