1967-1972 Ford F-100 Custom Vintage Air A/C Install - The Bumpside Build-On Photo Gallery
Every A/C system needs a drier and should have a safety switch. The drier is mounted in-line between the condenser and the evaporator. The drier is typically put on the core support by the condenser. Safety switches are either binary or trinary. Each shuts down the compressor when there is too much pressure or when pressure drops too low. The trinary switch is wired to an electric cooling fan and turns the fan on when the A/C is switched on. You should seriously consider the addition of an electric fan with you're A/C system. Don't forget to oil every O-ring on every fitting.
