The manual will tell you how many rotations different-size bits require, but a good sign your bit is getting sharper is a decrease in noise from the grinding wheel. If the chisel, heel, and cutting edges aren't uniform or the relief angle is too high, realign your bit and sharpen again. This bit's good to go-or ready to be split. View Related Article
