Way back when I installed Fatman Fabrications' four-link, I also step-notched the frame 6 inches to ensure suspension clearance for my low ride height. I had originally planned on ditching the stock bed floor and cutting the floor around the step notch to set the bed back on the frame during the build until I addressed the bed floor. With the frame sticking up into the bed floor, it was easy to measure that the floor needed to be raised 5 inches in order to clear the step notch. View Related Article
