The '49's unboxed midframe portion provided the perfect central location for the block and, as you will see, the air compressor as well. At this point, it's a good idea to stock up on zip ties and a decent amount of wire insulating loom.

The air distribution block just got a lot more components to handle with Air Ride's LevelPro, but it's still a straightforward deal. Use Teflon sealer on any NPT fittings that aren't already pre-coated (threads will be dark red if coated), and make sure to get everything tight.

The object is to keep all the wiring and plumbing nice and tidy. Along with clocking the air fittings, you'll also want to compensate for the pressure sensors and their forthcoming electrical plugs-we don't want them squished up against the framerail, either.

Continuing on with the electronics, the individual level sensor harnesses simply plug in, but it's up to you to route the wiring in a secure fashion.

Any time you encounter a "pass-through" situation for either wiring or plumbing, make sure you use the proper rubber grommet to avoid any future damage to the lines. (Obviously, I've still yet to accomplish that here!)

With the compressor mounted and wired, it was on to plumbing the air lines, starting with the block. Again, to ensure air-tight connections, use Teflon sealer wherever necessary, and cut the tubing square and clean.

Plastic wire loom wrap is fine; I chose to use a heavier-grade, expandable nylon fabric loom from Made 4 You for all the wiring we ran along the framerails.
