The goal is to make the edge of the running board run into and join the wide bead on the fender's lip. First, the top of the running board was split about a foot starting at the fender to make it flush with the bead on the fender. Next, a filler piece was made at the bottom of the fender to mate the two to make the 90-degree bend in the bead. View Related Article
