For side-to-side crossmember positioning, make sure to offset the driveshaft hoop if your pinion is offset so you have proper driveshaft clearance. Since I don't have the motor and tranny in yet, I used my wide straightedge to take the place of the driveshaft.

With the four-link on the outside of the frame and the bracket with the three holes at the top, I put the links in the top holes. There were a few holes in the frame that would've been hard to get to later, so I welded and ground them now.

Well, it's almost there! Everything is looking pretty good so far; I can start tacking it together. Next month we'll look at the upper coilover mounts, step-notching the frame for rearend clearance, and hooking up the panhard bar-stay tuned!

It was time to get the links ready. With a little grease on the rod end threads, I assembled all of them. Fatman says there should be 23 inches from center to center of the bolt holes, and that's where I set mine. I checked them by putting long bolts through them to make sure they were all the same length.

With the links bolted to the brackets holding everything together, it was easy to mock it all up. Here's how they look from above with the crossmember 5 inches from the frame.
