Before I show you how the notches turned out, we have to put the rack extension on the right side of the rack. Remove the boot from the rack and you'll find a tie rod end threaded onto the rest of the unit. With a 7/32-inch bit, drill into the outer hole; there's another 180 degrees from this one. This hole has a pin in it that keeps the tie rod end on. All you need to do is drill in about 1/4 inch until it feels like you've hit harder metal, then unscrew the tie rod end off the rack.
