This looks kinda odd, but this is what cast pistons look like fresh out of the mold before they get machined.

It just so happened there were two '37 Cord blocks in the shop for work, and this one was the eighth wonder of the world! Someone had apparently done a swell job of "windowing" the side of the block at one time and was now being fixed. I'd love to see the master who was wielding the brass on this, truly a work of art! Next, it badly needed an align bore after all the heat it took to fix the side of the block.
