...like this! Components from Vintage Air, ididit, Lecarra, Classic, etc. make for a nice, formal setting.

If you recall last month's sneak peek, you'll remember the mention of the overhead surfboard. Those 3,100-watts of Phoenix Gold amps will eventually be concealed by a handcrafted longboard that will levitate above occupants.

After-the-fact custom bodywork continued, including the extending/peaking of the headlight eyebrows.

Anyone experienced in the bodyworking process knows, it's a very long process at best, especially with elaborate custom projects such as this. Primer becomes a very hot commodity!

As seen on the chassis, plumbing is handled in a discrete manner in many cases. Here, tubing was used to route the condenser lines in the grille cavity.

At some point along the way, the decision was made to go with Cameo taillights instead of the stock Suburban units--wise move!

The first signs of glossy paint--albeit just on the firewall for now, at least it's one step closer to completion, and ought to indicate things are headed in the right direction.
