The ignition switch wiring can accommodate either a dash-mounted ignition switch (supplied in the kit) or a later-model column-mounted ignition switch (the terminals are the same). To use the column switch you have to remove the dash-mounted ignition-switch connector and replace it with the two-column mounted ignition-switch connectors supplied in the kit. View Related Article
