The Eastwood Company just celebrated 35 years of high performance DIY-auto restoration! Eastwood was started in 1978 and pioneered the DIY-auto restoration world, which allowed home-builders the accessibility they needed to get tools and chemicals.
The company that started in the garage of founder Curt Strohacker, is now a dynamic multi-channel company that continues to push the envelope in terms of innovation and technology.
“Eastwood was founded on a simple principle of offering quality products at affordable prices”, said Curt Strohacker, Eastwood Founder. “By sharing our knowledge of the hobby, we are able to educate others to help ensure their projects turn out great!”
The company kicked off its celebration by having a grand re-opening of their retail store in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. In-store there was a free hands-on class pertaining to welding and automotive refinishing. If you brought your collector vehicle, you received a free gift card and even exclusive discounts.
The Eastwood Company website is completely new and interactive featuring how-to videos, live-stream demos, tech articles, and its new Shop Talk podcast hosted by Kevin Tetz. Tetz is a certified auto-body repairman and has his own line of instructional auto-body repair videos.
If you find yourself in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, make sure to stop by and take a look at the new Eastwood.
