Ron Covell Seminar At Fatman Fabrications Ron Building Parts For A 1940 Ford

Just a bit of news for the books...Ron Covell, aka "Professor Hammer", has just completed his ninth training class in Advanced Metalworking at Fatman Fabrications in North Carolina.

Over 25 rodders attended the two-day class and had a chance to see Ron in action scratch-building a miniature '36 Ford rear fender and skirt.Brent VanDervort, the owner of Fatman's, allowed all the participants an opportunity to work with the English wheel, Pullmax, Erco power shrinker, and planishing hammer. Ron's expertise allowed them to see how all the work done on power equipment can be done with simple hand tools as well!
