Frank Happ with partner Marc Prince announces that Heidts Acquisition, LLC has purchased the assets of Heidt's Hot Rod Shop, Inc. from Gary Heidt. The sale provides Gary Heidt the freedom to pursue his automotive and personal interests while still remaining on the Heidts Hot Rod Shop team and active in the Automotive Aftermarket Industry.
Gary Heidt is an industry ICON and a 2007 Member of the HOT ROD HALL OF FAME. Gary started Heidt's Hot Rod Shop 23 years ago in his garage first building a 1933 Ford Coupe. Gary, a mechanical engineer by trade, has developed many innovative independent front and rear suspension products which have made Heidt's Hot Rod Shop a leader in the Hot Rod and Muscle car aftermarket parts industry. Gary will continue to work with Heidts Hot Rod Shop to develop quality products.
Frank Happ is Vice Chairman and Founder of SUZO HAPP GROUP selling parts, supplies and services to the Gambling, Amusement and Vending Machine Industries. The Company started in Frank Happ's garage in 1986; today the firm has world-wide sales near $200 million and 600 employees. Marc Prince previously owned a service trades business and has a long history of owning hot rods & muscle cars. Marc is from a family of car enthusiasts and has built and modified his own muscle cars.

The Company will continue to develop innovative new products like the Second Generation Camaro 4-link rear suspension which won the "Best New Product Award" at the February Indianapolis Hot Rod Restoration Show.
Heidts Hot Rod Shop will make additional acquisitions to broaden the Heidts Hot Rod Shop product lines.
