1979 Ford F-100 Lariat
Les Barr
Blountville, Tennessee

I got a nice note and a few images from Eryn Barr a while back and thought I'd share the pictures. This pickup is Les Barr's pride and joy, and we can see why. This has to be the cleanest, unrestored classic F-100 we've ever seen.

According to Eryn, her dad ran across this low-mileage (would you believe only 900 original miles) 1979 Ford F-100 right in their hometown of Blountville, Tennessee, back in 2012. The gent who owned it at the time was the pickup's second owner (the truck was originally purchased in South Carolina). Somehow or other Mr. Barr was able to talk the man into selling it and Les ended up as the truck's third, and we imagine final, owner.

Eryn says her dad plans on keeping the truck in the showroom condition that it's in and possibly showing it in a few local shows. At the time she wrote, she and her dad had taken it to one local show over in Kingsport, Tennessee. After the show wound down, Les let Eryn drive home and she had the pleasure of seeing the odometer turn over to the 1,000-mile mark.

Well Eryn, thanks for sharing your story and the pics of your dad's pride and joy, and give him our best when you get a chance.
