We were lucky to get a chance to see what was happening at the 2013 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada a day before it opened and we found this cool 1957 Chevrolet Cameo.
The Cameo was built and designed by CW Restoration Shop in Huntington Beach, California and the lucky owner is Dick Armstrong. Aside from the paintjob, this truck has sits low to the ground and been outfitted nicely with Nitto tires wrapped around Intro Wheels. Underneath the hood the truck we have Hedman Hedders attached to the dressed V-8, Eddie Motorsports Hood hinges, Hose Candy hose covers, Gotta Show steel braided lines, MSD Atomic EFI and a Griffin Aluminum radiator.
The interior is also nicely done and features Dynamat interior sound deadener so the cab stays nice and quiet. As for sound, this '57 has Power Bass speakers and a Retro sound radio that keeps the music going. Letting you know how fast you're going would be the Dakota Digital gauges that have replaced the stock setup. A GT Performance Steering wheel sits up top the steering column where the old one used to be.
This is one fine truck and we're sure glad we stumbled upon it. For more stories and trucks, keep it locked on www.classictrucks.com
