Once the bodywork was completed, the cab, bed, and related sheetmetal was treated to multiple coats of PPG Toreador Red and clear urethane and assembled onto the truck’s new chassis. Finally the pickup assembly was in the final stretch. New wiring and a multitude of fresh new components were installed as was a complete custom leather interior by M&M Hot Rod Interiors as the icing on the cake. As is quite evident, Steve’s ’54 ended up as a shining example of a flawless classic pickup that is sure to serve Steve with pride, satisfaction, and fun for years to come.
