Jose Leyva’s Presidio, Texas-based, ’70 C10 is a great looking pickup and a fine example of a homebuilt classic that see’s more than its fair share of road time. Jose let’s no grass grow under his tires as he and his C10 have attended over 70 shows throughout Texas and New Mexico since he finished it back in 2003.
The C10 is powered by a 330hp small-block Chevy and is backed with a Hughes-built 700R4. Jose chose a good looking turquoise DuPont finish and a set of Boyd Coddington custom wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich rubber. The interior of the truck has received as much attention to detail as the exterior and features a 60/40 split power seat out of a ’98 Chevy pickup that’s been treated to fresh upholstery by Chris Fink out of Fort Worth.
