Presidio, Texas Jose Leyva has been the proud owner of this ’70 C10 for nearly thirty years now. It began as Jose’s daily driver and served him faithfully for a good ten years in its original form. Soon after hitting that ten year mark Jose decided it was time to pay his workhorse a bit of attention so he got to work restoring and rebuilding whatever needed restoring or refinishing. When he was done the C10 was ready and willing to give him another decade-plus worth of service. About eight years ago, Jose decided it was time for yet another round of refinishing—this time even more thoroughly than he had years earlier.
Jose’s latest upgrades include a fresh 35ci 330hp GM crate engine, a Hughes-prepared 700R4, a quartet of Boyd Coddington custom wheels, a custom rear-mounted fuel tank, and a completely fresh interior, and lots more.
