Todd and Trina Taylor e-mailed us a few shots of their good-lookin’ ’72 C10 to share. The pickup has been a four-year project, and according to Todd there’s just a bit left to go. The new paintjob will be a combination of GM Dark Olive and the original white color.
Power comes via a numbers-matching, 430hp 350ci small-block backed by a TH350 and a 4.11:1 Dana 60 rear. The C10 is also equipped with factory air, power windows, power steering, and power disc brakes. The fontend sports 3-inch drop spindles and out back Todd flipped the rearend over the springs and C-notched the rear rails. As if that wasn’t attitude adjustment enough, he also outfitted each corner with RideTech airbags. Todd performed a few mild mods like pulling the marker lights in about ¾-inch and both the antenna and bed pockets were removed/filled for a cleaner look. The interior has been redone using all-new GM N.O.S. factory parts. All work was done by Todd himself in his two-car garage. CT
