With the bodywork and paint finished the sheetmetal was reunited with the '46's fresh new chassis. It was then treated to all-new glass cut and installed by Bob's Auto Glass (you guessed it, of Bakersfield, California). The Chevy's cockpit received an equal amount of attention as the rest of the pickup did, and that came in the way of a custom console fabricated by Gelie Strauss and a nicely stitched suede interior by Bakersfield Automotive & Aircraft Interiors (can ya guess where they're located?). As I said earlier, Nick's first try at building a cool classic truck was a complete success. I can't imagine what this guy will produce in the future-once he gets a bit of experience behind his belt.
