Gregory Hamilton bought this '62 Chevy C-10 in 2003 from an old man in Jessup, Georgia, who was the original owner. From then on until 2005 it was Gregory's daily driver.
The C-10 didn't look that good back then, but it drove great for the short commute to Fort Stewart every day. Soon Gregory worked on it and in short order he had it painted red, added new seats from an S-10, and had the wood bed totally redone. A year later he moved to Germany with the U.S. Army and packed up the truck and shipped it over! While in Germany Gregory rebuilt the original 235 straight-six, added power disc brakes, and lowered it 21/2 inches in the front and 3 inches in the rear. Now that Gregory and the truck are back in the U.S. he has more time to work on it, since like many old trucks it's a work in progress.
