Glen and his wife, Lauraine Shovley, were on vacation in Clearwater, Florida, 10 years ago when Glen picked up an Auto Trader for a look-see and fell for a '54 Ford F-100 and wanted to look at it if they got the chance. The next morning the couple were on their way back from the local flee market and Glen spotted it on the corner, they stopped and the next week it was shipped to their home in Grosse Ile, Michigan.

The F-100 now has a '72 El Camino front clip, a 350 built by Lauraine's brother Mike Walt, a Turbo 350, a Ford 9-inch, Magnaflow mufflers, many body mods, and paint by Frank Gifford of Classic Illusions. The '54 also has a Hot Rod Air A/C system, an ididit column, a Lokar shifter, and upholstery by Dan Ulrich of Trim-Rite.
