Well, not quite, but subscriber David Ramsey has a pretty cool '50 International that deserves to grace this month's Classic Cruisers page. David chose an International because his grandfather had one that he used to run errands for the country store he owned in Westview, Kentucky. As a boy David would ride with him in the truck to the feed mill to pick up cattle feed, and those early memories of the International stuck with him ever since, plus David wanted to build something different when it came time.

The '50-model International has factory hidden door hinges that lasted only one year, as well as left and right side hood hinges, a one-piece curved front windshield, and dual back glass. David added a 302/C6 Ford engine and trans combo along with a 9-inch rearend. Elsewhere under the black truck is a Mustang II frontend with disc brakes, and Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers.

David and his wife are happy to take the '50 to several weekly cruise nights close to their home in Louisville, Kentucky, and have no plans of stopping anytime soon. Let's see some more "off-brand" trucks!
