The interior was designed to look and feel inviting using rich materials and warm colors. Power steering, power brakes, shoulder belts, Vintage Air, cell phone charger mounted in the ash tray, and a remote-operated kenwood stereo with dual amps and 10-inch subs hidden under and behind the seat are just some of the creature comforts. Most of the cab was insulated with Dynamat, which keeps the ride surprisingly quiet. High Quality Auto upholstery in santa Clarita, California, did a fantastic job with the stitching, including custom fabricating the wood ribs for the ultrasuede headliner.

Overall, "The Dude" is just a fantastic driver. Highly rewarding to push hard on the twisty canyon roads where I was lucky enough to get several hundred miles on him and a 75mph one-hand cruiser on the freeway (love that overdrive). It's funny how projects seem to have a life of their own and how the process can change so dramatically. I almost feel like I was along for the ride even though I turned every bolt.
