With the lowering chores out of the way, Adam picked up a set of whitewalls from Diamond Back Classics and four of Wheel Vintiques' steel Smoothies, whose red color matched the red inset on the side of the C-10.
Inside the truck is the stock sand-color interior is perfectly contrasts with the white and red exterior. Before Adam got the truck, Mike had the stock bumpers and grille rechromed, which really adds to the truck's natural good looks and was one less thing Adam had to do.
Once back on the road, the Strawns took the '65 to the same local cruise nights that it had been to many times before when Mike owned it, and most didn't even recognize the Chevy with its not-soextreme makeover. It just goes to show that a little bit does go a long way. Good eye, Susan!
