The Boyd Coddington 17- and 20-inch hoops set off the color like a nice set of diamond earrings. Advance Plating in Nashville, Tennessee, handled the rechroming.
The truck was hauled over to Louisville, Kentucky, so Larry Sneed could stitch up the soft stuff for the interior. He covered the custom-made seat and door panels in taupe leather, with carpet to match. Amongst the hides, we find VDO gauges, an ididit column crowned with a Boyds wheel, and a Lokar shifter. Taft tackled the seatbelt installation so he'd not only feel safe while driving, but to also be comfortable cruising around with his grandson, Tanner, who just can't get enough of the truck.
The Asher's truck has proudly rewarded them with a Pro's Pick in the Columbus, Ohio, Goodguys show, as well as placing high at the F-100 show in Pigeon Forge; it would have apparently gone higher if it had a Ford motor in it. I wouldn't worry about it though; you have a great truck to show off all your hard work.
