The lower mount uses these spacers that go into the front of the block to the pair of holes to the left of the crank. This truss makes it possible to use any head manufacture because the truss mounts to the block and holds the whole drive system.

Mount the Vintage Air TiteFit Line kit to the compact polished compressor and take that and the polished Powermaster 140 Amp Alternator and bolt them to their respective brackets and then attach those to the main truss.

The unique thing about Vintage Air's FrontRunner set-up is that it utilizes a spring-loaded tensioning system for a no-nonsense, trouble free operation and with that mounted and the crank pulley on, all that's left is the compact GM Type II power steering pump.

One you have all of your hoses cut to length, turn all of the fittings the way you want them and "clock" them with a light colored marker or paint pen and take them to an A/C supply store or a garage that has a crimper for A/C lines and get them crimped. Clocking them will ensure that the lines will lay the way they were set up because once they are crimped you won't be able to twist 'em!
