It seems like there is usually a fair amount of good-looking '67-72 C-10s at just about any show these days, which isn't a bad thing, and Doug Valentine's '72 is definitely one of them. It just so happens that Doug holds the title to a coveted Cheyenne Super C-10 that came from the factory with a 350/auto combo, two-tone paint complete with trim, and a houndstooth interior. As if the truck wasn't cool enough on its own, Doug lowered it and set it on polished Torq-Thrust Ds. | COEs always get your attention and make even the most mild-mannered onlooker think, "What if?" Dave and Mary Bronza from Valley View, OH, love driving their '47 Ford, especially since there is an LT1/4L60E combo rumbling under their feet. | For the International fans out there, you could have driven home in this fresh frame-off restored '66 Harvester that's now powered by a 455 Olds. |
Is it a Chev-illac or a Cad-rolet? We're not sure, but Bill Steele's '59 Chevy truck has a 500-inch Cadillac monster tucked under the original weathered hood. The old hot rod shop truck is always fun to see, and Bill's Chevy is right on with a few bits of fresh chrome, whitewalls, and carefully selected lettering and logos. We'll bet he's the only one running around his hometown of Oakdale, PA, in something this fun! | Mike St. Hoypole from Mt. Pleasant, PA, sure is thinking outside the box with his '41 Chevy. He took a somewhat top-heavy stock truck and carefully chopped and sectioned the body to gave the Chevy a whole new attitude while retaining good proportions-cool! | Once you go black, you'll never go back! This black-on-black '71 Cheyenne Super is owned by Joe Greenslate Jr., who couldn't be more proud of it. Did you ever think stock bumper guards could look so neat? |
Ed Teasar planted a giant under his '47 Ford's hood. This nice, subtle truck has a honkin' 514ci Ford motor that's just right for boiling the rear tires at the drop of a hat. | How 'bout a '48 Studebaker for something different? Ron Crysel from Seven Mile, OH, put together this no-nonsense "odd-rod" truck and is having fun stopping people in their tracks. | Ohio is Suburban country! While walking the show, we came across all these AD Chevy Suburbans... |
