C-10s are like puppies-you can't resist them! Sorry, Ford guys, here's another one, but this '67 does deserve mention because its owner, Ed Muth, brought it all the way down from Ontario, Canada. That's a good drive no matter what kind of truck it is. | This would have been a good vehicle for the Midwest Ghostbusters, if there ever was one! Todd Merrifield from Richwood, OH, pilots this rare restored '57 GMC ambulance. It's fully equipped on the inside with period accessories like a gurney, oxygen bottle, first aid kit, and a Motorola CB radio. | We found ourselves strangely attracted to Ron Thacker's unique '68 International Harvester Crew Cab. The more-door pickup is powered by its stock 392 V-8 that's been rebuilt and detailed and transfers power to the ground via the stock four-speed trans. Ron's truck is a good example of how far a new set of wheels and tires and a lowering job will get you. |
Columbus turned out to be the International House of Pickups! Here's another IH we found cruising the fairgrounds. This is Jerry Vanscoy's '51 International that he put together for kicks. It is Chevy-powered, which seems OK since Ford would later put International engines in their truck from the factory. | We'd put this Dodge in our garage! Kris Brickman's '55 Dodge turned out to be a real stunner with its redder-than-red paint, tube grille, frenched headlights, modern wheels, and two-tone interior. As far as what's under the hood, we don't know since Kris simply wrote "yes" on the window sticker under engine/trans, but at least we know it's there. | |
