I had to take a break in some shade under the Papa Studios' tent, where Amy and Brian were very accommodating and friendly, not to mention talented. Brian was pinstriping trucks, models, and anything else you brought to the tent. Check out www.papastudios.com for more. | Talk about a sleeper! Not sure if this would be a Fodge or a Dord; regardless, I bet it's fast with that Viper V-10 under the rusty old hood... | ...Anthony drove this sucker all over the country from his home in Maspeth, NY, on its fourth F-100 Super Tour. It has attracted quite the following. |
Rain, rain, go away! Every evening heavy showers soaked the fairgrounds and my photo shoots, but most people stuck around anyway. | This bright yellow '49 F-1 was soaking up the sunshine between showers and was lovin' every minute of it. Wonder if the whitewalls on this truck make its owners, Margie and Ken Titus, smile as much as it made me? | I overheard a few folks talking bad about Kevin and Susan Traylor's '56 Harley-Davidson F-100 because it had a big-block Chevy in it, but I'm gonna say they were just jealous of this classy ride. |
Gary and Polly Hosler from Ohio showed off their East Coast-styled '53 with its chopped top, airbrushed side trim, tube grille, lakes pipes, and ribbed bumpers. | There weren't too many northern Ford trucks in Tennessee, but this flamed '53 Mercury panel snuck across the Canadian border with owners Gus and Linda Pettipas inside. | Gary Coe and Steve's Auto Restorations collected enough trophies to change everyone's minds about '57-60 F-100s. |
Steve Haessly and his family from Henrietta, GA, were some happy folks when they heard their new truck was the new F-100 Truck of the Year. | Mark Pierce brought in his killer Unibody Ford that was so black and glossy it was better than most mirrors! The shortbox had some good meat stuffed up in the rear fender wells that wrapped the Cragars nicely. | I don't think I've ever seen anyone as happy as Chris Seaton was about No Limit Engineering's giveaway '56 mod-motored F-100! I think Pat Ford (left) and Rob MacGregor (right) needed to use the jaws of life to get Chris out of his new Effie. |
