Ford F-100 - Charitable Efforts

You may remember Steve Stillwell--he's the guy partly responsible for launching this very magazine. Having moved on to greener pastures (he's currently working with the Truck Enthusiasts Network), he hasn't forgotten his classic roots, as seen here by his black-suede F-100. Those painted and polished steelies are actually Colorado Custom billets, which look good with the matte finish exterior.

And let's just say Bobco has enough tin to keep him busy for a long, long time!

The full-custom F-100 we faux-pa'd a few issues back, well, it's still being built--by Bobco for Bobco--but its completion date has been slightly pushed back a bit to allow time for the various customer projects currently underway.

One of those particular customer projects is this bright orange (sueded, at that) '56 panel, another classic you're soon to see here on the pages of CLASSIC TRUCKS.

The event was limited to F-100s of the '56 variety--oh, no. Check out this neat little Fleetside Custom Cab, complete with a bitchin' stance over a set of Coddington five-spokes.

From the time we arrived till the time we had to boogie (one of us courtesy of a friendly flatbed!), there was a continuous line for bbq'd burgers, and we know why--they were good! Thanks again to Bobco and all involved for a great day and an even better charitable cause.
